Overview
Built to explore cooler waters or extend the on-water adventure season, the updated men's Hudson dry suit offers submersion protection with features designed for long days on the water. Abrasion-, saltwater-, and UV-resistant 3-layer Marine Spec BP fabric with 500D Cordura® reinforced seat and knees make it exceptionally durable. The adjustable CCS (Closed Comfort System) neck seal provides watertight comfort and allows for one-handed venting to manage temperature.

The Mustang-developed Closed Comfort System (CCS) seals against water but isn’t as tight as a latex seal. The CCS came from our work with SWIFT water rescue teams. They were looking for a drysuit that allows users to open the neck seal to regulate body temperature while working long days in warm flood rescue regions. The CCS system also provides easier donning and doffing (getting in and out of) due to its adjustability.
In combination with our CCS neck system, we use robust neoprene for exceptional comfort at the wrists. Using neoprene allows us to spread the seal pressure over a larger surface area without discomfort and with the added benefit of thermal protection.
When the conditions and environment require nothing less than exceptional protection—rugged Marine Spec BP, the most abrasion and puncture-resistant fabric in the Marine Spec family, is the right choice. Modelled on Mil Spec 6.5 Gore-Tex, the Marine Spec BP demonstrates similar characteristics and performance.
The 70D nylon face fabric is highly durable with abrasion, salt water and UV resistance. The internal bi-component membrane, hydrophilic PU membrane, and PFC-free hydrophobic PU coating provide the most breathable, waterproof, and windproof performance of the Marine Spec range and the nylon tricot backer offers next-to-skin comfort and extends the garment's life.
With a weight of 195 gsm, the Marine Spec BP fabric keeps wearers comfortable and dry in Mustang Survival’s coastal and offshore apparel and dry suits.
