I love my GL Greenland kalleq paddle. I had another moderately high end composite paddle. But with age come soreness and I was getting elbow, hand and shoulder pain reducing my fun and length of trips. The Kalleq paddle solved all thos issues. And it wasn't just on calm water. This was crossing the chesapeake boats, wind and all and doing 20 milers. No loss of speed or really efdiciency. The learning curve is not steep at all and you do need the gaskets to keep the water from running down in your lap or just modify your stroke slightly. Love it!
