Love this kayak! Fish creeks and rivers and needed something a tad longer than my 9 footer I used for years. I purchased a quality sit on top and after dumping it immediately my first float by leaning slightly I knew this wouldn't work for me. I purchased this Perception Sound 10.5 and never looked back. Very stable and tracks nicely. With the low center of gravity of a sit inside kayak I am confident while bouncing off rocks floating sideways in riffles. I like that I can toss my kayak cart in the back. Quality construction and low price. Added two inexpensive self-inflating cushions, one for the seat and one for the back, and I can float all day! I found by extending the pole holders by inserting smaller diameter pvc pipe they are much more functional. I float with my feet on top of the kayak and it opens up the floor for storing all my tackle. Very satisfied with this kayak!
This kayak tracks good and has decent speed. Very comfortable for 4 hour paddles. If longer I would get more cushion to sit on. Has great height that will keep waves from coming in and has plenty of storage. I highly recommend this kayak.
