We have all filled out forms with boxes forcing us to categorize who we are. Here at Lendal we draw our own box, and label it “Other.” We are engineers, scientists, and athletes with backgrounds as diverse as the places we have paddled. We unite around our shared commitment and passion for adventure. We balk at the word “no,” and cringe at the phrase “can’t be done.” We live to surf massive rapids, paddle over monstrous rollers, and take in another beautiful sunrise from the vantage point of our cockpit. When we aren’t in our kayaks you can find us ripping down singletrack on two wheels, finding God in two feet of fresh powder, or running an alpine ridgeline. Different is in our DNA.

Overview

The Cadence is a high angle paddle designed to suit all paddlers from novice to advanced; it is built to allow the novice paddler to move up to an intermediate skill level seamlessly. Our lightest paddle, it is light both in swing weight and in strain resistance on the stroke, so provides enough purchase to make long distance paddles feel effortless. The Leverlok connector provides continuous feathering left and right along with a 5 cm extension.
Build your perfect paddle by combining three blade designs and two shaft choice with the Lendal Cadence. The blades are available in two print options; Blue, Yellow, and Green Triangles or Pink, Purple and Blue Triangles or you can choose standard carbon fiber. There are two shaft choices with our MCS (modified crank shaft) or straight. Wherever combination you choose, we want you to just paddle.

What Users Are Saying

With barely any discernible flex in across any direction through the blade, the power transfer is clean and crisp making for a spring like snap of the blade exiting the water and a scalpel like entry on the catch.
