This boat is great for rivers with lot of on the fly waves. It has speed, it stays on top of the water and with the flattened stern it is very playful. With the wider hull it is a bit more difficult to initiate a stern squirt than other boats of this design that are a bit narrower, however this is what makes for better stability too. So if you are after a fun river running boat that you can surf and play around in that also has great lateral stability- I would say this is it.

The best half slice ever made in the industry. Fun for river running, down river play, surfing and rock play. It is also EASY to boof on the familiar creek runs to spice things up! It is comfortable with built in ergonomics in the design and the outfitting is easy to adjust for a custom fit.

Antix is my go-to boat, perfect when im not sure if im going to big water or technical river running.. or just want a playful time on any dam release runs. It’s so easy to roll, steer and boof I put beginners in it a lot but in an experts hands.. there’s few limits. Surf, spin, squirt, splat, loop.. even blunts. The Antix acts like a river-running playboat. I’m 180 and choose medium mostly.. so playful and light! I choose Large for harder runs or when it’s cold. I work at JK, mostly paddle JK boats, but when I can only bring one boat, it’s usually an Antix.
