The River Shred is a great board for the river because it is ridiculously durable and very stable. I was never worried about scraping rocks or catching my fin because they have thought about these features and made them for that purpose. The fins are pliable so if it were to hit a rock it wouldn't snap but they are still stiff enough to maintain direction. I was paddling on a low volume class 2-3 section of river. I would love to try surfing this board on an eddy access wave to make the most of the full rocker design. I feel like it would also be amazing at that.
This is literally the best and most versatile board for whitewater. Anytime im in moving current, this is the board for running rivers, surfing rogue waves, big whitewater or just messing around. The rocker really allows you to punch through holes and allows for surfing every wave or rapid. The added with makes it so much more stabile than other boards on the market as well.
Certainly the best whitewater SUP out there. Super stable, rocker profile is awesome, thickness and shape are great. It's very easy to deal with and swap fins. Plus it is basically unbreakable. Definitely a must have for anyone wanting to go SUP some real whitewater.
An absolute River Shredder! The shape and rocker combination is the best that I have ever tried. It allows you to paddle downstream with ease and confidence and play with every river feature you encounter. Beginners and seasoned river runners will appreciate every aspect of this board.
