Designed for serious adventurers, the Explorer 420x is large, rugged, and versatile. Ready to take on Class IV whitewater or calm lakes. Perfect for weeks-long camping trips or just a day on the water. 16 floor drains can be closed for dry paddling on calm lakes or opened to let water out in rapids. Inflates in 9 minutes and packs small for easy transport. 855 lb. weight capacity allows for up to 3 paddlers or lots of gear. Add an electric motor for even more fun. The
420x can handle up to a 34 lb. thrust electric motor with the optional motor mount. The removable skeg can be replaced with the Bixpy® J-2 skeg-mounted electric motor. Use the Sea Eagle® QuikSail™ for a fun trip downwind then paddle back. The 420x is your everyday, anywhere kayak.
