In 1982, whitewater and touring canoeist Dale Kicker and flat-water racer Ron Hultman teamed up to create the first composite tipped canoe paddle. This unique innovation revolutionized the paddle industry and gave birth to Bending Branches. Since that birth, paddles from this Wisconsin company have propelled people to the places and experiences that people dream of. This spirit of adventure continues to drive Bending Branches to enhance your paddling experience.

Overview

The revised Balance SUP paddle - with its smaller 85 sq. in blade - is the perfect exercise equipment for water lovers. This paddle, lighter weight than most synthetic paddles, marries a carbon shaft with the beauty and warmth of wood. Rounded blade edges help preserve board sides and deliver a powerful workout. The Balance has a 10 degree bent shaft and the blade is edged with Rockgard edge protection. The Balance is available as an adjustable length SUP paddle (70-80" and 76-86") and in fixed lengths (70-86" in 2-inch increments).
